Churches are desperately searching for called, qualified student pastors. We’re in the trenches developing student pastors through one year in the classroom and one year in supervised ministry at a church.

Student Pastors

We believe in the power of an encounter with Jesus. Our worship leadership program helps to equip worship leaders with both pastoral and artistic skills to effectively lead congregations in weekly worship.

Production Ministry

Our team, and SDEA as a ministry, is a wealth of experience producing events and working with those in the audio, video, and lighting disciplines. You can deepen your skills in six months and serve your church with excellence.

  • A deeper look into what we believe as followers of Christ. This course examines aspects of the faith such as God, man, Scripture, the end times, and other topics.

  • Learn skills that will make you a well-rounded leader. This class covers traits like self-awareness, failure, communication, & teamwork.

  • This class gives students a better understanding of the everyday activities of ministry. Students will learn how to develop a ministry strategy, how to facilitate small groups, and how to employ biblical counseling. Emphasis is given to essential skills needed for staff interaction and collaboration.

  • Students take an in-depth look into their calling and natural skill-set, holy ambition and success in ministry, and current issues and cultural questions in order to effectively set a course for long-term ministry.

  • Students dive into cultural questions and common worldviews and attain the tools necessary to reach this generation. Topics of study include intercessory prayer, evangelism in the Bible, cultural engagement, answering common questions, and others.

  • Students learn the art of preaching -- how to prep, write, & deliver a message. Opportunities to develop platform communication skills are available.

  • Learn practical foundations to how worship leaders can build creative spaces in the context of worship gatherings.

  • Develop tools to adapt to cultures, demographics, and styles that link up with ministry assignments.
